Kilala mo ba si Ate Shan? Alam mo ba ang silbi ng isang student regent? Alam mo na ba ang mga nagawa ng ating student regent para sa atin? So ano kung kelangan ng referendum para sa student regent selection? MAGING MAALAM.
The student regent is the sole student representation of the 50,000 students of the UP from Luzon to Mindanao. The sole voice in the highest policy-making body in up ensuring that our constitutional right to education is guaranteed. This year, with the new provisions indicated in the UP Charter, 25,000 students must engage in this year's student regent selection. This provision is definitely a challenge, but we, Iskolars ng Bayan will collectively stand up to such challenge. We will prove once more that in these times when there are incessant increases in tuition and other fees augment the meager budget of UP, we will rise up against schemes to further commodify education and we will make sure that we shall protect, uphold and defend the student representation in the Board of Regents.

from JANUARY 19-23, the student referendum will be voted upon. VOTE YES for our student regent. VOTE YES for keeping alive our only voice in the BOR.
